Community Ophthalmology

Eyes are considered the supreme of all human sense organs, but to keep them healthy and free of disease and ensure good eyesight, one needs to have a periodic check-up. But there are many people, who cannot afford to go to a doctor. It is here that AARYA EYE CARE plays an important role, ensuring that they do not suffer because of lack of medical attention.

With this noble thought in mind, AARYA EYE CARE started Community Ophthalmology Department. Under this, villages in and around Thrissur are adopted and Eye Screening Camps are conducted regularly. People from these villages are provided free eye consultation and surgeries, such as Cataracts and others. Due to this initiative, many villagers have been able to have a clear vision. Our doctor and a team of paramedics visit the clinic’s setup in villages and over 100 people are examined in every camp and the numbers keep increasing, as word spreads and people from the vicinity come to avail of this opportunity.
